Cool man
Perfect! thanks for the help
Thanks for just doing the lick and for not talking about it for 15-20 minutes as some do!
Okay, I had this problem with all 4 of my guitars on all 3 my amps. I knew it wasn't intonation and I knew it wasn't string buzz on the frets. It was doing it on the 24th fret of the 3 highest strings. Anyway, on my Jackson JS32, I lowered the pickups as recommended. I read somewhere that a good rule of thumb for pickup/string separation was 1/8-3/16". So I went for that with both pickups. Well, that worked... kind of. Low E, A, and D string are good. B and high E string are good. But the G string still has that high pitched warbly oscillation pretty much anywhere on the string, no matter where I set the pickup height to. Now what?
Sorry to hear about your trouble. These sort of things can be frustrating to troubleshoot. Three questions: 1. Can you hear the "warble" when the amp is off? 2. Are you playing high gain or clean when you hear the "warble?" 3. Does it happen on both pickups?
Great Idea . I have a 0.12 to 0.53 strings in my guitars bagpack . Does it works as well ? or need to be minimun 13
It will work, but just not as well. The heavier the gauge, the better.
Thank you I appreciate your time and the advice
Massive
Sweet
Very nice man. Been lookin to teach a close friend this riff. Powerful. Thanks.
Nailed it
Thanks so much! I'm surprised this video is still making it around RUclips after all these years! Thanks for watching.
Rad. A Taylor electric
Why teach it in standard tuning, would of liked it if you had of talked as well, because your teaching method is ok for robots.
This is another great song by LLB
Played it how we’re supposed to learn it.
I think it will be perfect after the strings are played and stretch a bit as hes just restrung it, and tuned it
same problem with a 14'' neck frender strat with 10s on it, in tune but plays out, necks perfect to, will try it out looks like it will work hence your demo, thanks ahead buddy
Great lesson, thanks!
Gold Jerry, gold.....
Thank you. I'm going to give it a try with those strings you show. My fender sonoran 7/8. The strings on there are 12's. The action seems a bit high but the neck is adjustable. Funny another video says go thinner. So lots of things to consider but I need to try as I have the same problem. Thanks.
hi, do you have the whole song transposed?
Hello, the link to the transcription (TAB) is in the description :)
🤯 Thanks!
Las bian!
Awesome!!!
This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
Tune up a half step and throw a capo on the 1st fret.
Thanks, I couldn't figure this out without your help.
This is definitly a must for tiny guitars. My mini strat copy has a bridge with intonation sadles. Both together but those guitars playing as the big ones.
But what if I've already set my pickups to their lowest position and I can't lower them anymore, but I'm still getting this problem with the sound? I have a 7-string guitar and the low B string is driving me nuts...
brilliant
Yes, as everyone points out, it is guitarlele tuning you need. Drop G tuning. Then capo the house to standard E to have fun with backing tracks. It fixes everything, thank me later.
I knew some of this but not all of it. Very helpful. Thanks for doing this.
sounds like the opening to a song by The Breeders . . .
Perfect!! No blabbering, standard tuning, tasteful, perfect timing, correct notes. Love it!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Or you could just tune your guitar higher!
I used Melody Assistant (a software created some 25 years ago, still updating today) for years. This was not an issue with that software. The sound quality is so much better also. Too bad but this is the reason I don't use GP.
The simplest way is to create a second voicing and use that for the bass notes. GP 7/8 (does this for sure.
I have a Brian May Mini May Electric, I changed out the tuners to Grover and put on ernie ball super slinky 9 11 16 24 32 42, then tuned to A D G C E A and had to intonate the E. Man, what a difference.
Wow, your the first guitar teacher who’s employed the use of the slowmo, genius, that alone puts up in the top 10 ranking!
And then you can even slow down the slowmo!
Would be great if you shwo what inversión you played
Great video bro!
Man this takes me back, one of the first songs I learned! I bought a LZ bootleg album and it was on it, although it was released on the 45 B-side of the Immigrant Song. LZ didn’t release many 45’s singles Peter Grant marketing strategy was not to release singles so consumers would buy the entire album!🎸🇨🇦
Awesome thanks bro!👍🎸🇨🇦
hey brother i just subscribed to your channel, you did a wonderful job on that, i like that slow motion
I like how you tell us what the notes are, as well as their positions! Thanks
Earle Wood My Short Scale Guitar never had that issue w/ Light Gauge strings because it has a very special bridge which puts the strings at a sharper angle over the saddle & also at the headstock it's a slotted headstock which increases the break angle over the nut.
interested.what is your guitar
@@youidontaaa It's a Mini Strat
It’s my first day learning guitar! This is my goal song to learn. I’m wondering if you have this song tutorial for a complete beginner (if not I understand it is a bit chaotic for beginners 😭😂) if not would you ever consider doing a breakdown with commentary? Do you suggest any specific videos to maybe work up to this? Thanks for all you do. This is amazing and inspiring to work towards ❤️
Hey I'm learning this too. Maybe we can be study buddies? You seem really wauw... :)

Sounds great but what affect does he use for that sound in the video because I'm trying to mimic it?
Nobody plays this anywhere close to as cleanly as tremonti does. Never understood how he gets those hammer on pull offs to sound so crisp lol
Wow, you are an outstanding teacher! Thanks. This was just what I needed to know.
Thank you so much!
Wow God bless you for such a concise rd fix video. This was driving me off my intonation rocker...
